Longines.com Watches Collections
Hi there! This is my first post on WatchUSseek.com and i hope you forgive my untrained language and other irregularities...
Today, i want to introduce this fancy Longines Dresser to you:
Fast, faster. 36000 A/h
The Longines Movement 431 is beating faster than most in the early 70ties. Something you can easily see and hear. For example on the consistent move of the central second hand.
With the Idea to achieve chronometric accuracy, the beating frequency was raised up to 36000 A/h and spread to different Watch-Series and Qualities. The one shown here is adjusted to 4 Positions.
The Highbeat- Heart brought the disadvantage of higher wear. Nothing that makes a Watchmakers Son afraid Due to this Problem, Longines reduced the frequency to 28800 A/h later on.
Beautiful Watches are available, equipped with this Movement. Diving Watches as well as Dressers in different shapes and sizes.
The one here appears to be a typical 70ties child. 1968 to be more exact. Thank you to the famous Longines Service helping me with this Information.
Beautiful rectangular, stainless steel case:
Nice stainless steel back with Ultrachron print:
